BHHS Students Honored with National Community Service Impact Awards
Bloomfield Hills High School is proud to announce and honor the students who have been recognized by the United Nations Association of the USA and InnerView’s annual Community Service Impact Awards, and the recipients of Kroger’s Zero Hero awards.
The Community Service Impact Awards program connects student service to real-world outcomes, skill development, and community needs. This year, students from BHHS were part of a nationwide effort of high school changemakers who collectively invested more than 2.3 million hours of service, equivalent to $78 million in community impact, addressing critical local and global challenges.
Schools with a collective student impact above 2,000 hours of service, the equivalent of a full time employee, are recognized with a School Impact Award. We are thrilled to acknowledge that students from Bloomfield Hills High School have invested 2,179 + hours in community needs, earning the Sapphire Award. Through their efforts, students from BHHS made meaningful contributions to quality education, demonstrating how local action drives global progress.
