Mayas Smith Recognized as National Merit Scholarship Winner
Mayas Smith has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious National Merit $2,500 Scholarship, a nationally competitive award recognizing some of the most academically accomplished high school seniors in the country. This year, only 70 graduating seniors from Michigan were chosen to receive the scholarship, making this an exceptional honor.
Selected from a nationwide pool of outstanding students, recipients are recognized for their strong academic performance, PSAT/NMSQT results, and overall achievements in school and their communities. We are incredibly proud of Mayas for earning this distinction and representing our school at the national level. This recognition reflects his hard work, dedication, and bright future ahead.
