OSTC-SE Program Exploration

OSTC-SE Program Exploration

Bloomfield Hills High School students in grades 11 and 12 have the unique opportunity to take courses at Oakland Schools Technical Campus - Southeast campus. BHHS 10th grade students have already signed up for these opportunities for their grade 11 experience. Placement for next year’s courses is not guaranteed, but if students are interested in this opportunity, families can learn more by visiting OSTC during Wednesday exploration sessions, and can sign up online for those sessions.

A total of 36 grade 11 and 12 BHHS students are currently enrolled in these programs. OSTC-SE, with its Royal Oak campus, offers a range of career and technical education programs that provide students with the technical skills and academic knowledge needed to prepare for future employment and/or a successful transition to post-secondary education. These career-oriented programs include automotive technology, collision repair and refinishing, computer programming, criminal justice, culinary arts/hospitality, cybersecurity networking, energy-electrical technology, engineering, robotics & mechatronics, graphic and communication design, health sciences, and welding.
