Report Absences Via Parent Portal Instructions

Families can now report student absences, late arrivals, and early dismissals through the ParentPortal. However, please understand that when you enter an early dismissal via ParentPortal, it does not automatically send a pass to your student, so if you need a student urgently, you should call the attendance line for faster processing. We hope that this process will be easier and more efficient for both parents and school staff.

Below are the instructions for reporting your student’s absences in the ParentPortal. Please reach out to Mrs. Corbett in the attendance office if you have any questions.

Early Dismissal Reminder

*Please note: We will not be accepting early dismissal calls or parent portal entries after 2 p.m. for reasons other than verified emergency situations.. For any other early dismissal requests after 2 p.m., a parent or guardian will need to visit the attendance office in person.

Pre-arranged appointments: If your student has a pre-arranged appointment scheduled, please call the attendance office, or put it in ParentConnect before the time of the appointment.
