PTO

The Bloomfield Hills High School Parent-Teacher Organization serves the BHHS student and staff community. Membership dues support the efforts of BHHS teachers in classrooms and the efforts of students in school and community-wide events. BHHS PTO volunteers share their knowledge and time. Together, we help make the BHHS community stronger, supporting BHHS students and enhancing their educational experience.

Join the Executive Board of the BHHS PTO in 2025-26! The PTO supports students and staff with hospitality (food and gifts) and teacher grants (budget-allowing). We support school and district initiatives (like healthy technology use at school and home); and we strengthen community by bringing the parent and guardian community together, either through in-person regular meetings or online on the BHHS PTO Facebook page. 

Open Positions for the 2025-26 school year:

  • (Co) President: flexible; about 2-3 hours a month in preparation (agendas, communications). Lead meetings.
  • (Co) Treasurer: 30-60 minutes per month. Prepare financial reports for meetings.
  • (Co) Secretary: attend PTO executive board and PTO general meetings to take meeting minutes; then share minutes.

The board (ideally) represents parents and guardians from the broad BHHS community (athletics, music, theatre, Robotics, etc.). Next year’s board has the power to create its own goals and develop strategies tailored to student and school needs.

Thank you for paying dues or donating to the BHHS PTO. You can do so by logging in to Community Pass and searching for “PTO Dues BHHS 2024/2025.” Annual dues of $40 cover your whole family. Beyond dues, thank you for considering and sharing this opportunity to make an additional donation to the PTO—no matter one's connection to the high school.

Our community gets stronger with you, and meetings are a wonderful way to participate. Come with questions, connect with other BHHS families, or share your ideas. Each dialogue-driven gathering is our chance to learn from one another. We can’t wait to see you!
